SIBU - Seekor buaya sepanjang 5.43 meter dengan anggaran berat melebihi 600 kilogram berjaya ditangkap di Kampung Sedi, Pulau Bruit, Daro hari ini selepas dua minggu diburu kerana mengancam keselamatan penduduk di sekitar muara Batang Paloh.Penangkap buaya berlesen Jeferry Siew Seng Kwong, 41, berkata reptilia itu berjaya dipancing kira-kira 12 tengah hari sebelum beliau bersama pasukannya mendaratkannya pada 4.05 petang.Beliau berkata buaya berkenaan sering memasuki sungai-sungai kecil yang menjadi laluan dan tempat penduduk menjalankan aktiviti harian, sekali gus menimbulkan kebimbangan meng (Sinar Harian, 17:26)
