Cat caught red-handed stealing blind woman’s fried chicken
WHAT could be more shameful than stealing from the poor? Nothing except stealing fried chicken from a blind lady while she was busy addressing her audience on a social media platform.
In a video making its rounds on social media, a blind Malay woman can be seen speaking to an audience while enjoying a plate of nasi lemak with her bare hands.
Everything appears to be going smoothly until an unexpected four-legged visitor decided that the fried chicken on her plate was an easy game.
The cat, presumed to be her pet, casually makes its move, dragging its prize away at a leisurely pace.
Forget loyalty. Forget gratitude. All these virtues are meaningless in the face of fried chicken.

The clip has left netizens amused, with some joking that the shameless feline is destined for hell for stealing food from a blind woman.
Netizen @J_nJack found inspiration from the chicken-stealing cat to make a quote of wisdom too.
“You won’t be eating this chicken right?” said @rubahkidsune , impersonating the cat.
However, @snh7710 said the feline was being cute, and advised it to share the chicken instead of taking it all for itself.
“A traitorous cat,” added netizen @Zaryna84 while @Suduurenter pointed out that an Oyen cat would have stolen the rice together with the chicken too.
Note that “Oyen” is a highly popular term or nickname in Malaysia and Indonesia for cats with orange, ginger, or reddish-yellow fur.
In popular culture and on social media, Oyen cats are often associated with behavior that is unique, amusing, bold, and somewhat mischievous, as well as a tendency to seek attention or cause a ruckus.
At any rate, the cat in the video is now known across the cyberspace as an infamous poultry-thief.
But knowing cats and their behaviour, the feline would likely do it again, and again, and again.
No remorse. Just a chicken-filled belly.—Oct 12, 2026
