KUALA LUMPUR: Agensi Keselamatan Siber Negara (NACSA) dan Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia (MCMC) akan membangunkan teknologi perlindungan data tempatan yang mampu menghadapi ancaman komputer kuantum.
Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, berkata Malaysia kini diiktiraf pada tahap tertinggi, Tier 1, dalam kesiapsiagaan beralih kepada kriptografi pascakuantum.
"Sehubungan itu, NACSA dan SKMM akan membangunkan teknologi perlindungan data tempatan yang mampu menghadapi ancaman komputer kuantum, sambil meningkatkan keupayaan Cyber Security Cryptology Development Centre (CSCDC) Berhad," katanya pada pembentangan Belanjawan 2027 hari ini.
