This App Brings the Pixel 11-Exclusive Gboard Rambler to Any Android Phone

If you've wanted to try Gboard Rambler but don't have a Pixel 11, this is for you. An independent developer has released PixelBoard, an unofficial, modified version of Google Gboard that brings Rambler voice dictation to other Android phones without requiring a rooted device.
Google's Rambler uses Gemini to turn natural spoken thoughts—which often include "umm," "er," "like," and other filler sounds—into clean, structured text. Unlike typical voice typing, it removes these fillers and adds proper grammar and punctuation. But Rambler is officially available only on the Pixel 11 series.
PixelBoard installs as a separate app alongside the standard Gboard, so users don't need to remove the stock keyboard. Users can sideload the modified APK, enable it in Android's keyboard settings, and select Rambler Dictation in the keyboard's voice-typing settings.
The mod does not work entirely offline. Rambler still depends on Google's Gemini-backed service, so Google could disable it through a Gboard update or a server-side change. As always, when installing third-party software, we recommend that users triple-check that it matches their needs and risk tolerance.
If you're interested in trying PixelBoard, it's available now on GitHub.
