PETALING JAYA: Program KL Car Free Morning yang dijadualkan berlangsung di Dataran Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) esok dibatalkan susulan peningkatan bacaan Indeks Pencemaran Udara (IPU) dan risiko kesihatan akibat jerebu.

Menurut Jawatankuasa Kerja KL Car Free Morning, keputusan itu mengambil kira risiko yang mungkin dihadapi peserta akibat pendedahan kepada jerebu, khususnya ketika melakukan aktiviti fizikal di luar bangunan.

“Acara pada Ahad, 11 Oktober 2026 di Dataran DBKL dibatalkan.

“Keselamatan, kesihatan dan kesejahteraan semua peserta sentiasa menjadi keutamaan pihak penganjur,” katanya dalam kenyataan.

Pihak penganjur turut memohon maaf atas segala kesulitan yang timbul serta menghargai sokongan dan pemahaman semua pihak. – UTUSAN
