Pesawat jenis Bombardier Challenger 600 itu menghantar isyarat kecemasan tiga minit selepas berlepas dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Nnamdi Azikiwe di Abuja sekitar pukul 4.17 petang (waktu tempatan), baru-baru ini.
Juruterbang menghantar isyarat kecemasan ketika pesawat berada pada ketinggian 914.4 meter.
Pesawat itu bagaimanapun selamat mendarat kira-kira 17 minit selepas berlepas.
Rakaman video dimuat naik di media sosial menunjukkan pintu jet itu jatuh dari langit di sebuah kawasan lapang berhampiran Lapangan Terbang Nnamdi.
