Ahli Parlimen DAP itu mengingatkan bahawa gerakan Reformasi sendiri sebahagiannya terbentuk akibat kemarahan terhadap serangan ke atas Anwar semasa ditahan pada 1998.
Dia memberi amaran bahawa dakwaan kekerasan terhadap tahanan seumpama itu tidak boleh dibiarkan berterusan di bawah pentadbiran Madani.
