Kejadian berlaku selepas hujan lebat bermula kira-kira pukul 1 tengah hari tadi. Difahamkan air sudah surut ketika ini.
Seorang penduduk, Siti Nurnajiha Mohd Narzeri, 18, berkata, dia dalam perjalanan pulang ke rumah melalui Jalan Persiaran Putera apabila mendapati jalan berkenaan digenangi air sehingga hampir menutupi tayar kereta.
“Air naik secara tiba-tiba dan ada kereta terkandas kerana air tersebut hampir mencecah paras lutut.
“Kawasan ini biasanya tidak pernah dinaiki air, jadi mungkin ada saluran longkang yang tersumbat sehingga air bertakung di atas jalan,” katanya.
Seorang pengguna media sosial Threads, @nrannies turut berkongsi satu rakaman video beberapa kereta meredah banjir di jalan di kawasan deretan bangunan premis di situ.
“Kuah dah berkuah,” komennya.
