RIMOWA and Joe Alwyn Explore Natural Pigments with New Umber & Ultramarine Collections

These complementary hues share a rich history in art: one an earthy natural pigment and the other a precious blue derived from lapis lazuli – together, Umber & Ultramarine celebrate the alchemic beauty and transformative power of colour.

Starring renowned English actor Joe Alwyn, RIMOWA’s accompanying campaign follows a young artist as he moves into a new studio, transforming an unfamiliar space into a world of his own with the same pigments that have filled artists’ palettes for centuries. As the days pass, the rich blue and brown pigments seep into the artist’s daily life, inspiring his creative process.

With earth pigments being some of the most enduring elements, RIMOWA is pleased to dedicate its new seasonal hues to the celebration of natural colour.
