It seems The Weeknd is planning to end his ‘After Hours til Dawn Tour’ with a bang. The famed singer recently landed in Seoul, South Korea, for his latest tour dates in the country, and a special request from many fans came true during one of the nights. The sold-out shows took place on October 7 and October 8, 2026, as part of the final Asian leg of his ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour,’ and the special guest on day 2 blew everyone’s mind.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie joins The Weeknd for his day 2 concert in Seoul

The Weeknd returned to South Korea after his last single-night show in December 2018 at the Gocheok Sky Dome. On the second day, the BLACKPINK member joined the ‘Rising Sun’ singer on stage in a surprise performance, sending the entire crowd of around 180,000 fans into a frenzy at the Goyang Stadium.

The two musicians performed their hit single, ‘One Of The Girls,’ live for the first time since its release in 2023, marking a historic moment for fans of the duo in Seoul. The song was originally released as part of the soundtrack for the OTT series, ‘The Idol,’ in which both the Canadian singer and the ‘ExtraL’ singer also star. The original track also features ‘Nosferatu’ star Lily-Rose Depp.

During the performance, which drew massive cheers from the crowd, Jennie and The Weeknd faced each other and sang the lyrics to one another.

The famed singer stunned in her iconic purple leopard-print sheer bodysuit, which also featured translucent lace, long sleeves, and a corset-like bodice for the night, sporting long, straight hair with bangs, while The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, sported his iconic all-black ensemble for the night along with sunglasses. At the end of the performance, the two shared a sweet hug on stage, smiling at one another, with Jennie saying "Weekend Oppa, have a great show!" in Korean as she left the stage. Their performance soon became the talking point online, with many fans praising their onstage chemistry and commenting on how long they had waited for this reunion.

Fan reactions to The Weeknd and Jennie on stage in Seoul

As soon as videos of the two started making rounds on social media, fans of the stars went into a frenzy. Many praised the two for their chemistry, with one social media user commenting, “Hearing Jennie sing 'One of the Girls' live with The Weeknd is such a treat; their voices blend so beautifully.”

Another fan reshared their videos from the concert online and wrote, “The Weeknd and JENNIE on the same stage in Seoul? What a moment!” While another person shared, “Back in 2018, JENNIE was just sitting in the audience watching The Weeknd's first-ever concert in Korea. And now, 8 years later (October 8th), she's actually on stage at the Goyang Sports Complex, performing right alongside him.”

The Weeknd's global ‘After Hours 'til Dawn Tour’ will conclude on November 5, 2026, at the National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The singer has been on tour since his first performance on July 14, 2022, at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
