The Tesla Outlet Adapter has been listed on Tesla Shop Malaysia for RM350 . This accessory is required for owners who want to utilise the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature on their Tesla Model 3 , Model Y , and Model Y L .
V2L allows users to draw power directly from their Tesla’s main battery to run external appliances. In short, it turns your Tesla into a giant rolling power bank.

In Malaysia, native V2L support was previously limited to the Model Y L, which launched here back in April . Moving forward, V2L is also supported on all Model 3 and Model Y units manufactured from this month onward. Older units unfortunately cannot be retrofitted to support the feature.

According to official specs from Tesla Malaysia, the Outlet Adapter operates at 230V with a maximum continuous current rating of 13A. Assuming a power factor of 1.0, this yields an output of roughly 2.99 kW—more than enough to power standard home appliances, outdoor camp gear, or power tools.
